Just because he thinks Israel can protect itself doesn’t mean he’s anti-diplomacy. Republican and democratic presidents have supported Israel. It’s not a new thing. The US gives Israel (and many other countries) financial aid, but it gets support in return. Israel helps keep the rest of the Middle East “in check” for the US.

If all you people are unhappy with giving money to other countries, with the way our government works, leave the US. All you do is complain complain complain.
