It must be nice to known that you can go visit your family with any restrictions now. However, i find it apalling that even though it is "open" they can still turn people away with out reason. However, i do agree that it is a step forward and hopefully many people went to the border when it opened and i'm only sorry that i couldn't be there myself.

Fact: An agreement exists between Israel, the PA, Egypt, and the EU as to how the border is to operate
http://www.miftah.org/Display.cfm?DocId=8895&CategoryId=7

Fact: Since the Hamas take over, Hamas has prevented the implementation of the agreement

Fact: Opening the border crossing in any other fashion is a violation of existing agreements

Opinion: If the Gazans are allowed to disregard agreements at their convenience, so is Israel.

Does anybody think that disregarding negotiated agreements is a constructive move?
